This book is perfect for a small group to go through or to do on your own. This book teaches you how to abandon your outcomes. To love the Lord through all times of your life. It is so so so so so helpful. Just buy it. You wont regret it. Follow along with your bible open and read passages as the author writes them in the book. Love the breath prayers!!

This book was literally an answer to prayer.
It is written in a way that is easy to read but each section is filled with heavy challenges, biblical redirection, and a plan! I am very emotional about this book because I feel it really has changed my life, and I find this is hard to put into words. The book is not a self help book...but it is filled with practical advice to bring you back into Jesus' easy yoke! If you feel anxious, stressed, and feel that you are not living in His rhythm or peace but desperately want to....buy two copies (one for a friend) and start reading!

How to fight corruption head on

I started reading this book in January 2010 and it was immediately very sobering - the book focussed initially on Haiti as an example of a place beleagured by corruption, and I was reading it just after the earthquake struck. This set the tone for the book - reading about the problems besetting various nations and knowing that it would be an uphill struggle for any improvement.

I found the book rather disheartening; not because the author didn't offer some options for improvement - which he did - but because it seems to be such an enormous task, getting ever larger. As I write this review the news has been full of corruption in Pakistan cricket and more, and the never-ending problems of corruption seem ever greater. But the book does offer some hope and gives ideas to the church as to how to respond. I suspect this book is mostly aimed at those involved in mission, development and government but it is a well-written and interesting read for any concerned person.

Scratch off technology is poorly applied for download key.

I purchased the book new and sure enough it cam with a card inside and a scratch off download key. The only problem is that when you scratch off the area for the key, several of the numbers also scratch off. So it is a useless key since with alpha numeric characters missing, there are hundreds of possible combinations to try and guess at it.. It was a waste to buy the book new. I wish I would have bought the used version and then I would have been in the same boat but having spent less money. I have been able to find on Youtube all but one of the songs that the key gives you. Save your money and get a used book.

A whole new understanding of music!

American popular music was a joy to read. Each page was filled with information about the different music genres. Each chapter had sections about different musicians and singers in that particular genre and time period. There is so much that I learned from this textbook that I had no idea about. It truly helped me to understand more about American music for my music class in college.

Very Good Book

I used this book as a primary preparation tool for the Sun Certified Business Component Developer (SCBCD) exam. Being a beginner in EJB, I found this book to be very friendly. I liked the layout of the book in general and the writing style of the author in particular. Only relevant pieces of code are presented to focus explanation of topic in question. A complete running application may be downloaded from the author's website. The multiple choice questions at the end of every chapter and ALERTs in every chapter made remembering main points easier. Deployment descriptor elements are clarified in considerable detail and they are explained well. Please note that there are errors in this book - some of them are fairly obvious such as using a capital letter as opposed to a small letter (Java versus java) while others are not so obvious but noticeable by experienced java developers. Regardless of its minor faults, I consider this book to be a valuable addition to my library. Normally I would have a cut a star for the errors but because of its content quality, I felt compelled to give 5 stars. I just passed the exam today thanks to this book. I know that I will not hesitate to buy another book from this author. Thanks Mr.Sanghera! I recommend this book highly without any reservations whatsoever.

There are a few mistakes in the book. Please be certain to check out the publisher's website for the IssueLog thread containing error encountered in the text. Despite those, this is a well-written and comprehensive book on a tough subject. I have learned alot in the process and I certainly feel alot more comfortable with EJBs.
